Scotty McCreery, a talented country music artist, was born on October 9, 1993, in the beautiful town of Garner, North Carolina. With his Puerto Rican heritage stemming from his father’s side, Scotty‘s family comprises his loving parents, Michael McCreery and Judy McCreery.
In addition to his parents, he has an older sister, Ashley McCreery, who has always supported him. After completing his education at Garner Magnet High School in 2012, Scotty McCreery pursued his academic journey at North Carolina State University in Raleigh, North Carolina. Here, he dedicated himself to obtaining a bachelor’s degree in communications.
Career
Scotty McCreery has achieved remarkable success with the release of five studio albums. The public has widely acknowledged all of these albums. For instance, his first album, Clear as Day, not only reached platinum status in the United States but also gave rise to two popular country songs, namely I Love You This Big and The Trouble with Girls, both of which made it into the top 20 charts.
Furthermore, his second album, See You Tonight, attained platinum certification and featured the exceptional country song Water’s Rising, which managed to secure a position within the top 10 country songs.
Scotty McCreery‘s record label, Mercury Nashville, released him in 2016 due to the lack of success of his single Southern Belle on the charts.
