Manchester United have revived talks for Tottenham left back Sergio Reguilon as discussions over a move for Marc Cucurella at Chelsea have slowed down.

Chelsea had demanded a £7m loan fee for Cucurella and he appeared against Wimbledon on Wednesday night.

Chelsea also have interest from clubs in Ian Maatsen though they had planned to keep him.

Reguilon doesn’t appear to have a future at Tottenham under Ange Postecoglou and hasn’t been involved so far this season.

The Spaniard spent last season on loan at Atletico Madrid.

United, who are currently without Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia due to injuries, are eager to bring in a new left-back.

There are concerns that Shaw could be out for around two months because of a muscle injury.

Reguilon joined Tottenham from Real Madrid in 2020 and has made 67 appearances for the north London club.
