Tamara Ecclestone shares wedding snap with sister Petra and their daughters Lavinia and Sophia 

Her sister tied the knot last month with fiancé Sam Palmer in a ‘small romantic ceremony’ at their £170 million Chelsea home. 

And Tamara Ecclestone was clearly still reminiscing about the day on Wednesday as she shared a throwback wedding snap of herself with bride Petra and their daughters Lavinia, nine, and Sophia, eight. 

Sharing her joy at her younger sibling’s big day, the heiress, 38, sweetly penned: ‘Best memory of an incredible day. So happy for you both’ tagging both Petra and groom Sam.

In the image, Petra, 33, looked sensational in a plunging white lace wedding gown while Tamara was glamorous in a glitzy gold dress.

Both sisters held onto their little girls – who looked cute in white flower girl dress – with Petra clutching onto daughter Lavinia’s hand while Tamara put an arm around her girl Sophia. 

All four looked amazing while posing for the snap, with the image seemingly taken as they got ready for the nuptials.

During the lavish wedding last month, Tamara made an emotional speech, hailing her sister as her best friend and sharing childhood anecdotes to the amusement of guests. 

She paid tribute to her ‘loyal, thoughtful, passionate’ sister, remarking in the speech: ‘Having a sister is like having the best friend possible. They are always here for you and see things the same way you do.’

Attendees gathered in the Georgian mansion’s landscaped gardens – the largest in London’s Kensington and Chelsea borough – to watch the ceremony and the newlyweds were met with claps and cheers as they made their vows to the strains of a string quartet. 

Guests were able to select from pomodoro pasta or risotto and sea bass fillet or chicken milanese, before they were served ice cream dessert and coffee to follow. The food came from from Ms Ecclestone’s favourite restaurant, Harry’s Bar in Mayfair.

Friends at the nuptials described the day as ‘small and intimate’ – a deliberate contrast to Petra’s ostentatious £12 million wedding to her first husband James Stunt in Italy in August 2011.

Tycoon Mr Ecclestone, 91, who learned last week that he would be charged with tax fraud, was not spotted entering the property but friends said that he gave his daughter away.

Slavica, his ex-wife and the mother of his two daughters, was also present. 

Petra and Sam, who is a former used car salesman from Essex, met in late 2017 through her brother-in-law Jay Rutland, who is married to her sister Tamara.
