A woman has criticised her ‘pathetic and selfish neighbours’ for devising a plan to reserve a specific parking space outside their house, despite having enough room on their drive for two cars.
Tasha Bonner has taken to TikTok to mock the ‘father and son duo’, who she claims ‘won’t allow anyone to park in their space’.
In the video, filmed from Ms Bonner’s upstairs window on a UK street, a man is seen getting ready to drive away in his blue car while the driver of the brown vehicle prepares to take the space.
‘Here we go again… brown car is ready to dash into the space,’ she wrote over the video, which has now racked up 1.5 million views.
And, sure enough, as soon as the blue car drove away the other vehicle pulled into the space it had left behind.
Ms Bonner explained that her neighbours have a double drive but also take up the road parking space next to their driveway.
She told MailOnline: ‘I think it’s comical and sad they they are so obsessed with this despite having a drive for two cars and ample space up the road.’
She added: ‘They both live there so they swap cars to keep that space ‘saved’ at all times.
‘It’s the biggest stress of his life. The son wouldn’t be able to leave if he wasn’t there to move the brown car.
‘I want it to come across as being pathetic rather than I’m sitting indoors stressed. I am mocking them for having a system that is in effect 24/7.’
The TikTok video, which has racked up 1.5 million views, shows one of the neighbours pulling away in the blue car while the other sits in waiting behind
As soon as the first car has driven away, the brown one moves along so no one else is able to park in the spot next to their driveway
In the comments section people shared their own experiences with similarly petty neighbours.
One person said: ‘My neighbour does the same… her son lives at the top of our estate but he parks in her driveway so then she has an excuse to park on the road.’
Another added: ‘I had also one of those neighbours. As soon as one drove away, he almost ran to his car to move it a few metres.’
‘My neighbours leave their drive empty and park either side of my drive with 2 cars and a work truck, and ring each other to keep the spaces when they leave!!’ wrote a third.

But other viewers questioned why Ms Bonner was getting so infuriated, seeing as the neighbours were not blocking her driveway and were simply parking on the street.
One person commented: ‘I don’t get what’s wrong? Looks like they just want to park in front of their house?’
‘He’s made room for his drive? Nothing wrong with that,’ another added.
Another person criticised Ms Bonner for filming the antics from her window. ‘Biggest curtain twitcher ever. Just as bad as your neighbours,’ they said.
Other viewers questioned why Ms Bonner was getting annoyed, saying it was ‘understandable’ that someone would want to park outside their own house
